We didn’t hear this at the last CES, what we got from the event are the two concepts AIOs and the all-new Wind Top AE series from MSI, the 21.5″ IdeaCentre from Lenovo, and some more. But now Sony bringing its new All-in-One (AIO) PC, the VAIO L Series to the Europe. Expected to be available from the end of March 2011, the 24†VAIO L Series powered by Intel Core i7 or i5 processors, and it runs Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
The Sony VAIO L Series comes with touch sensor in screen bezel that allows users to easily control functions including run Media Gallery, navigate or zoom documents and web pages, flick between on-screen windows, launch an on-screen ‘virtual’ keyboard or view a handy operation guide. Those features are unique and I think you can’t find it on competitors.
The VAIO L series is not the slimmest AIO in the market, it’s beaten by the IdeaCentre A320 which measures just 18.5mm deep at its thinnest point. But on the other side, you will get a Blu-ray Discâ„¢ writer that accessible right from the side of L Series, it’s worth it. Other highlights include: USB 3.0 transfers data at up to 5gbps – 10 times faster than standard USB 2.0; HDMI links up to your games console even when the PC power is off; Multi card reader; i.LINKâ„¢ connects easily to digital camcorders, PCs and external drives; WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 for fast wireless.
