Sony Expands Professional BRAVIA Lineup with EZ20L Series

In a significant move to cater to the diverse needs of commercial environments, Sony Electronics is expanding its family of professional BRAVIA displays with the introduction of the EZ20L series. This latest addition rounds out a full portfolio that now supports high-end, mid-range, standard, and entry-level applications. With sizes ranging from 43 to 85 inches, the EZ20L 4K series is designed to excel in corporate, education, and retail settings.

As the introductory offering in this lineup, the EZ20L models come with basic professional features designed for streamlined setup and maintenance. These features include simplified pro-settings, RS-232C support, standard IP control, 16/7 operation, and a brightness of 350 nits for optimal visibility indoors. Sony Electronics has focused on ensuring these displays are not only accessible but also budget-conscious.

The EZ20L series offers more than just basic functionality. It comes with a free, pre-installed BRAVIA Signage app and administrative controls to manage inputs effectively. Built-in mirroring allows users to connect their devices seamlessly. The displays feature a slim bezel, flexible installation options, a wide viewing angle, and a powerful 4K Processor X1™. With 4K X-Reality™ PRO for upscaling content and sustainability features such as the use of recycled plastic materials, eco-friendly packaging, and Power-Saving Mode, the EZ20L series is a comprehensive solution for diverse needs.

Availability and Warranty

In the United States and Canada, the EZ20L 4K professional displays are expected to be available in November 2023. These displays come with a 3-year standard warranty and can be purchased through distribution, reseller, and direct channels.

A Complete Range

These new additions to the professional BRAVIA portfolio complement Sony’s existing lineup of 4K HDR displays, including the BZ50L, BZ40L, BZ35L, and BZ30L series. These displays cater to a wide range of needs and price points while maintaining exceptional image quality, a wide viewing angle, professional features, and powerful System on a Chip (SoC) platforms.

Sony continues to innovate, with distinctive features such as the Deep Black Non-Glare Coating in the BZ40L series, offering high haze, low reflection, deep blacks, and high contrast. The flagship 98-inch BZ50L boasts 780 nits of brightness and Sony XR processing for unrivaled picture quality.

The high brightness, non-glare BZ40L series (55 to 85 inches) features 4K HDR X1 processing, achieving 700 nits at a high 47% haze with anti-reflection. The enhanced BZ35L series (55 to 85 inches) offers increased storage, 550 nits of brightness, and an X1 Processor. The complete BZ30L series covers a full range of sizes (43 to 98 inches) and includes 4K HDR X1 processing, making it a versatile choice for various applications.
