DJI has launched its latest drone, the Mavic 3 Pro, which features the world’s first triple-camera system, ushering in a new era of aerial content capture. The triple-camera system includes the Hasselblad wide-angle camera, a medium tele camera, and a tele camera, each offering different focal lengths. The system allows users to switch between shot compositions with just one tap, allowing them to tell their visual story in new ways. The Hasselblad camera can shoot 12-bit RAW photos with a dynamic range of up to 12.8 stops, while the tele camera supports shooting 4K/60fps video with 7x optical zoom and 12MP photos. With a maximum flight time of 43 minutes and Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing, the Mavic 3 Pro offers creators ample time to consider shot composition without worrying about battery life or obstacles in the way.

The Mavic 3 Pro’s triple-camera system offers multi-scenario capabilities, allowing creators to fully express their creative vision. The wide-angle camera can establish the environment, the medium tele camera can move to a specific location, while the tele camera can focus on a particular area or character. The Hasselblad camera also supports the Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution, which accurately restores colours to those perceived by the human eye, enabling creators to get enviable shots without post-production, and complex colour presets. The camera can also capture images up to 5.1K at 50fps or DCI 4K at 120fps, making it a viable option for small studios and professional creators.

The Mavic 3 Pro’s medium tele camera, which is suitable in a range of scenarios, can compress the depth of field and depth of focus, highlighting the subject and giving a unique sense of depth and space. The tele camera has increased resolution, aperture, and video frame rate, supporting 4K/60fps video with 7x optical zoom and 12MP photos. Its hybrid zoom reaches up to 28x, allowing users to capture objects such as snow-capped mountains, buildings, and animals at a safe distance without disturbing them.

The Mavic 3 Pro has a maximum flight time of 43 minutes, offering creators ample time to consider shot composition. The drone’s DJI O3+ transmission system can transmit a 1080p/60fps HD live feed at high frame rates at a distance of up to 15 km. It also has features such as Waypoint Flight, Cruise Control, and Advanced RTH, which elevate the automated flight experience. The Waypoint Flight automatically plans a flight route based on the user’s preset waypoints and can precisely repeat routes. The Cruise Control enables Mavic 3 Pro to fly in any direction without continually pressing the control sticks for smoother camera movement during long-distance manual flights. The Advanced RTH ensures a safe return to the pilot, even when obstacles are present.
