Cleaning Performance

The heart of the Max 705 is its vacuuming system: in Spot Clean mode with a full charge, it delivers 180× the suction of a 600-series Roomba¹. Two anti-tangle Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes adjust to carpet nap or hard floors, capturing debris without trapping pet hair. An Edge-Sweeping Brush tackles corners and walls, and Carpet Boost automatically cranks up suction when it senses rugs, so you don’t have to flip any switches.

Smart Navigation

Under the hood, the Max 705 combines PrecisionVision™ AI with ClearView™ Pro LiDAR to map rooms—even in low light—and dodge obstacles from shoes to pet bowls. As it learns your floorplan, you’ll see more efficient cleaning paths and fewer “oops” moments. The Roomba® Home App lets you schedule runs, track its progress in real time, or start a session with one tap. Voice control works via Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant², and later this year it’ll be Matter-certified for Apple Home integration.

Hands-Free Debris Management

Pairing the robot with the AutoEmpty™ Dock means dust stays put until you choose to empty the bin—about once every 75 days, according to iRobot. The dock’s automatic suction sucks out debris from the Roomba’s bin right after cleaning, sealing the dirt away inside replaceable bags.
