Linux is a new operating system compare to OS X and Windows, that is why the Linux version of Google desktop coming late. Like the other versions, the Linux version also indexes text inside documents, email messages and Gmail accounts but unlike the Windows/OS X version, it doesn’t have sidebar yet.
