The new HD camcorder from Panasonic, HDC-HS100 was announced last month along with the new HDC-SD100. Both camera are already available in the market and mentioned as the first to use Panasonic’s new 3MOS system. This new system promises to offer great colour reproduction and image quality even in low light.
Unlike the SD-100, the HDC-HS100 comes with 60GB of internal hard drive and also allows you to record directly to SD card, that’s why it’s superior. And based on CCD technology, the HS100 processes red, green and blue components of light separately, meaning truer reproductions on your movies.
As an HD camcorder, the Panasonic HDC-HS100 able to record anything you want at 1920×1080 pixel resolution. And it’s key features includes Advanced Optical Image Stabilizer, Leica Lens, 12x Optical Zoom and 700x digital zoom, 2.7-inch Wide LCD with 300,000 pixels and 5.1 Channel Surround Sound.
Regarding power resource, the HS100 comes with rechargeable lithium ion battery. The supported connection types include HDMI, USB, AV/Video output, Microphone/Headphone jack, and more.
