Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2c Coming in September

Microsoft has released Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2c (SP2c) to manufacturing and will be available to system builder begin next month (September 2007). According to the report, System builder who use imaging must create new Windows XP Pro images with SP2c when shipping SP2c product keys, otherwise end users will not be able to finish installation. The Service Pack 2c is released to resolve a shortage of product keys due to the longevity of Windows XP Pro, there is no additional features in the pack, it is built only to support the continued availability of XP Pro until January 31, 2009.
