Motion CL900 Rugged Tablet PC

Motion announced the Motion CL900 rugged tablet PC. Expected to be available in Q2 of 2011, the Motion CL900 will be at CES tomorrow for media reviews. As a robust tablet, the CL900 will stand up to harsh conditions, while enabling real-time collaboration and access to information. Powered by the upcoming Intel Atom processor currently codenamed “Oak Trail,” the CL900 runs Microsoft Windows 7, and includes 30GB or 62GB solid state drive (SSD), and up to 2GB of RAM.

Fujitsu’s LIFEBOOK T580 Tablet PC

Fujitsu introduced the LIFEBOOK T580 tablet PC measuring up with a 10.1-inch screen size and weighing just 1.4kg. Expected to be available for all regions in late November 2010, the LIFEBOOK T580 converts from a notebook to a touch screen tablet PC with a simple twist of the unique bi-directional rotatable screen. This provides a full touch screen experience including support for four-finger multiple touch, and enables fingertip control for up to 14 different gestures, as well as touch-based double-tapping, scrolling, magnifying and rotating.
