Sony successfully cutting the production cost of its popular game console PS3 by half. Now the production costs only at $400 compare to $800 when it first produced in 2006. So what? just wait the cheaper PS3 available at stores near you, but do not expect to be happen soon, just wait and see.

Sony planning to develop connectivity between PS3 and mobile phone. With this capability, users able to stream content of PS3 on the go, cool vision. As mentioned by Gizmodo, the connectivity will start rolling out in Q2 2008 and Sir Stringer, Sony’s CEO, told Reuters, “PlayStation Network next year puts us in the direct line of fire with Apple and Microsoft.”

The next PSP firmware v3.38 will add extra feature that allows users to stream internet radio. As mentioned on orbitcast.com, there are almost 10 millions PSP users in the US, so you can imagine the impact of this new feature to the internet radio business.
