Pioneer Electronics announced its new CDJ-850 digital media player adopting many of the technical advances made in the industry standard, pro-series versions and invites all levels of DJs to create, perform and share mixes like a professional. The O!play HDP-R1 HD media player is designed by Asus to access any musics and videos stored in any storage drive and play it through HDTV. For accessing files, the player supports eSATA, USB 2.0 and LAN connectivity. And for user’s convenient, it’s also packed with a remote control.
Asus going to show off its upcoming O!Play media player at Computex June 2-6 in Taipei. The player has eSATA connector which is believed to transfer content from external disk faster. As you can see on the images, the O!Play also equipped with LAN interface that allows you to stream playback from a NAS, PC or Home Server. Other I/O ports: stereo audio, composite video, optic digital audio, and HDMI. Expected to come in one and half month for 119 Eur, the player supports Mpeg 1, 2, 4, DivX (tot 1920x1080p); H.264, VC-1, RM/RMVB; AVI, VOB, MOV, MKV, ASF, Xvid, WMV; Mp3, WAV, PCM/LPCM, AAC, Dolby Digital, FLAC, DTS (!), AIFF, OGG; SRT, SUB, SMI, and SSA subtitle; JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF.
