Fujitsu introduced the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1100 ultra-portable scanner. As one of the world’s smallest document scanners, the ScanSnap S1100 weighing just over 12 ounces and featuring a new sleek style, easily fits into a briefcase. Available now for $199, you can see the demonstration of ScanSnap S1100 at the 2011 CES, January 6-9 in Las Vegas. Designed for use with a PC or Mac, the ScanSnap S1100 utilizes its innovative paper path system and fast front-side color scanning functionality to quickly scan anything from contracts and long receipts to business cards and plastic IDs.


Fujitsu PalmSecure™ Palm Vein Biometric Authentication Solution

Fujitsu will showcase the Fujitsu PalmSecure™ palm vein biometric authentication solution during Biometric Consortium Conference 2010, September 21-23 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida. PalmSecure authentication technology was recently integrated with the M2SYS Bio-Plugin™ platform, delivering an easy-to-deploy biometric access management solution. The Fujitsu PalmSecure sensor uses a near-infrared light to capture a user’s palm vein pattern, generating a unique biometric template that is matched against the palm vein patterns of pre-registered users.


Fujitsu’s LIFEBOOK T580 Tablet PC

Fujitsu introduced the LIFEBOOK T580 tablet PC measuring up with a 10.1-inch screen size and weighing just 1.4kg. Expected to be available for all regions in late November 2010, the LIFEBOOK T580 converts from a notebook to a touch screen tablet PC with a simple twist of the unique bi-directional rotatable screen. This provides a full touch screen experience including support for four-finger multiple touch, and enables fingertip control for up to 14 different gestures, as well as touch-based double-tapping, scrolling, magnifying and rotating.


Fujitsu FH550/3AM: All-in-One PC with Full 3D Experience

Featuring a 20″ widescreen LCD, the Fujitsu FH550/3AM all-in-one PC is mentioned as the world’s first model to be integrated with three types of 3D functions: 3D contents viewing, conversion from 2D to 3D, and 3D contents creation. The PC utilizes circular polarization technology for 3D video display, enabling a flicker-free, easy-to-see 3D viewing environment.


Fujitsu Lifebook MH380: $700 Netbook


The basic idea of netbook is of course to offer consumers the cheaper options of notebook PC. So when we find netbooks with pricing more than $500, it will leave some questions. And the common question is… is it overpriced?. The Lifebook MH380 netbook is just part of it. Priced at about 690 USD, the device configured with Intel Atom N450 processor, Intel NM10 chipset, Intel GMA 3150 graphics chip, 1 GB DDR2 memory, and a 250 GB hard drive. With 10-inch screen (1366 x 768 resolution), the MH380 weighs 1.3Kg including the 3900mAh battery.


Fujitsu LifeBook MH380 Mini-Notebook


Boasting the new Intel Atom Processor N450 (Pine Trail), the LifeBook MH380 Mini-Notebook is expected to be available next month/next year (January 2010) for $449. This 10.1-inch netbook comes with glossy ruby-red finish with chrome accents and wighing in at 2.97-pound. Highlights: WiFi 802.11 b/g/n wireless, 10/100 LAN card, built-in webcam, Bluetooth, Windows 7, and up to 7 hrs of battery life.


Fujitsu’s UH900 Multi-Touch UMPC


Fujitsu has announced its LifeBook UH900 as the smallest multi-touch handheld PC. Weighing less than 500g and measuring 20.4cm x 10.65cm x 2.38cm, the UH900 comes with a 5.6-inch touch screen supporting multi-touch with a resolution of 1280×800. This ultra-lightweight PC configured with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530, 2GB of DDR2-533 RAM, Intel US15W chipset with GMA500 graphics processor, and a 62GB SSD. It’s also equipped with an SD card slot, two USB ports, and a webcam. Regarding connectivity, the UH900 supports b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and inbuilt 3.5G (optional). Running on Windows 7 Home Premium, Fujitsu offers the device in three colors of choices: Mocha Black, Fiery Red, and Vintage Gold.

Pakced with a 13.3-inch widescreen display, the new Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 Tablet PC also equipped with built-in modular bay, integrated wireless access, and optional dual digitizer with multi-touch screen. With pricing range between $1759 and $2019, the T5010 powered by the latest Intel® Centrino® 2 with vPro™ Technology, 2 GB DDR3-1066 SDRAM memory, and up to 160 GB S-ATA hdd. Other highlights: Integrated webcam and dual digital microphone, Integrated TPM, Security Panel, Smart Card slot, Fingerprint Sensor, and Gigabit Ethernet.
