HP ZR2740w 27-inch Performance Display — with LED Backlit IPS Panels

Mentioned as the HP’s first 27-inch performance display with more than 1 billion colors, the HP ZR2740w features LED backlit IPS panels and HP Direct Drive Architecture that transmits the color value from the workstation graphics card directly to the billion-color panel with no alteration in the display. With pricing starts at $729, the HP ZR2740w has sRGB-class color gamuts. The sRGB color space is the industry standard for web browsers, digital cameras and printers and also matches the Rec. 709 color space used for HDTVs and video editing.

3M MicroTouch Display C2234SW

3M Touch Systems launched the 3M MicroTouch Display C2234SW. The C2234SW touch display combines a 22-inch high-definition, wide viewing angle, wide aspect-ratio LCD display with 3M Surface Capacitive touch technology in a robust metal chassis housing. The durabale 3M Surface Capacitive Technology (3M SCT) offers 91.5% light transmission, which makes it a preferred touch solution in public access and heavy-use environments for gaming, entertainment, self-service and financial applications.


Mirasol’s Display Technology for eReader


This is the Mirasol’s latest display technology designed for eReader. Displayed at CES a couple weeks ago, the demoed-device is a 5.7-inch XGA color screen which mentioned as a new future for e-reader displays. It’s believed to offer beautiful color, fast-paced video, visibility in direct sunlight, and consumes less battery power.
