LG Viper 4G LTE Android Smartphone Hits Sprint

LG Viper 4G LTE Smartphone Android

While Optimus VU and other LG’s LTE device such as Optimus Pad LTE are busy in talk, the LG Viper comes to us quietly through Sprint network. If you want to enjoy the LTE emerging technology, this could be your best time to think seriously before the pre-order sesion start openning on April 12. Though the LG Viper phone will be available later this month, but customers won’t be able to enjoy the Sprint’s fast 4G LTE network until mid-212 as the company planned to cover 4G LTE in Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio beginning mid-year 2012.

Okay let’s forget about the 4G LTE feature and take a closer look at the powerhouse. Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system (OS) platform, LG Viper is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and a 1 GB of RAM. It also sports a microSD slot in case the built-in 4G memory is not enough. In addition to the dual camera (front and rear), this Android smartphone has mobile hotspot capability that enables users to share their 4G LTE fast connection with surrounding devices. And the other lovely features those you will love most include: Near Field Communication (NFC), a 4-inch touchscreen, and a Corning® Gorilla® Glass screen protector.

So you’re having a home security system fitted and you want to make sure that you get the right one. Here’s a quick checklist before I start the main body of this post, to help you get started in the right direction:

  • 1: Ask your insurer. If your chosen alarm system is not on their list then go back to the drawing board. Unless of course you want to end up voiding your home and contents insurance.
  • 2: Choose a brand with a good reputation. To do this research your prospective house alarm system on social media streams. That’s what they’re there for ; )
  • 3: Set your budget. You can get a perfectly adequate system for your needs in line with your budget, as long as you know what the budget is in advance. Pick a sensible figure and stick with it.

OK so now we’re onto the main event. Given that you have kept the above three points in mind, we are choosing the best system for your home. First question: wireless or hardwired?

Canon VIXIA HF M-Series HD Camcorders, Wi-Fi Ready!

Canon‘s new HF M-series was showcased at CES in Vegas last month. The new series includes HF M52, M50, and M500 which designed as a compact HD camcorder with built-in flash memory except the M500. As far as I concern, 2012 is the year of Wi-Fi capable devices, not only digital camera or camcorder, even scanner now has built-in Wi-Fi functionality. We are now living in the era of social sharing, that’s why the HF M-series are also equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity that enable users to share video wirelessly through social network sites such as Facebook and YouTube or store to local devices such as iPad, iPhone, or home computer, and share later (in case you need to tweak the video before uploading).

All models share the same features except the recording media. Along with an additional SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot, the VIXIA HF M52 & M50 come with built-in 32 GB and 8 GB memory respectively. But the M500 has only a SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot without the built-in memory. Are you feeling lucky? Check these items at Amazon.com. Along with the Wi-Fi capability, the HF M-series also equipped with DLNA compatibility, as well as the option to capture videos in MP4 format.

Four Simple Computer Tips to Keep Your Broadband Internet Running

To get the best from the internet, you need a very strong and reliable internet connection. An internet connection like the dial up internet will not serve a fanatic internet user satisfactorily. It is important that you have a good broadband internet connection that will make your experience on the internet a very pleasurable one.

Perhaps, you have been using a broadband internet connection for a long period of time, but you have noticed lately that your broadband internet is not performing as it was performing the very first time you installed it on your computer and you are not satisfied by this, so you’ve decided to look for some solutions to it. Well, you are not on the wrong page as the simple computer tips I am giving here are to help you solve your broadband internet problems.

Install an antivirus on your computer
Firstly and most importantly, you have to secure your computer with a strong and reliable antivirus program as a shield against virus attack. Viruses can cause serious problems to your computer and also affect your broadband internet connection if you don’t take good care to monitor your computer.
You can visit either of these two antivirus sites to get an antivirus: avast and avg. After you must have installed the antivirus on your computer, run a full system scan for viruses and spywares. Delete every virus you detect from the result of the virus scan. Most importantly, keep your antivirus program up to date because hackers are pretty good at programming viruses that can break the security of an antivirus and this can only be avoided if you keep your antivirus program up to date.

Clean your desktop
You will notice that a computer with fewer desktop icons and folders performs faster and better than the old computer with too many desktop icons and folder. When you have too many desktop icons, most especially the ones that are not useful to you, your computer will become too slow to perform easy tasks such as making a broadband internet connect to the internet fast. To combat this, remove every unused icon on your computer’s desktop. After you must have done this, you will notice that there is a great difference in the performance of your computer.

Run disk defragmenter
Your files become fragmented due to the amount of files you have stored and replaced on your computer’s hard disk. When files are fragmented on your hard disk, your computer’s performance becomes significantly low.

You probably want your computer’s performance to improve so that you can enjoy better broadband internet, then you need to defragment those files that are already fragmented by running disk defragmenter. Disk defragmenter will help you merge the broken files on your computer together and make it a whole single file. Your computer’s performance will significantly improve after running disk defragmenter and your broadband internet connection will work faster and better.

Uninstall applications you don’t need
After running disk defragmenter, the next step you will carry is to make an overall check of the applications that are installed on your computer and judge which one you use often from the ones you don’t even use at all on your computer. You should be able to decide which application is to be on your computer and which one is to be removed. Go to your computer’s control panel, under the ‘add or remove programs’, you will see a list of the applications installed on your computer and their usage. Remove any one you are sure is not useful to you. Doing this will improve the performance of your broadband internet connection significantly.
