Acer ICONIA A510, an HD Tablet!

At CeBIT 2012 in Hannover, Germany last March, Acer introduced two new Android-based tablet, the ICONIA A700 and A510. The A700 is a 10.1-inch Full HD tablet with display resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core CPU, the A700 is scheduled to be released this month but I lost its track. So let’s focus on its little brother, the ICONIA A510 which is available at Amazon.com for $449.99.

Just like the A700, the 10.1-inch ICONIA A510 tablet is also powered by an NVIDIA TEGRA 3 quad-core process but the resolution is little bit lower at 1280 x 800, I think it’s not a big deal. Featuring 15 hours of battery life, this tablet runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich and comes fully equipped with Mobile productivity apps including Acer Print that is compatible with 87% of brand-name printers on the current market. The ICONIA A510 is also capable to edit and read MS Office, thank to the Polaris Office app.

Regarding multimedia entertainment, this Acer’s newest Android tablet handles heavy multitasking and offers Dolby Mobile 3+ with premium 5.1-channel HD output. Other highlights include: 9800mAh battery; Adobe Flash 11; 1GB of RAM; built-in 2GB of flash storage; 802.11a/b/g/n wireless; 1MP fixed-focused front-facing and MP rear-facing camera. And last but not least it’s preloeaded with Tegra Zone Android™ app for the best Android™ game experience.

Simply buy this tablet at Amazon.com and save!
