Samsung Galaxy S Featuring Corning Gorilla Glass

Corning announced that Corning Gorilla glass has been designed into the Samsung Electronics Galaxy S. The Samsung Galaxy S features a 4-inch super AMOLED display, while weighing roughly 119 grams in a slim, highly durable design. The enhanced super AMOLED display is enabled in part by using Corning Gorilla glass as the protective cover. Gorilla glass is an environmentally friendly alkali-aluminosilicate thin sheet glass that is both scratch resistant and durable.

Canon announced the new SELPHY CP800 Compact Photo Printer featuring a new 2.5-inch tilt LCD screen for easy viewing, selecting and editing of images. The SELPHY CP800 prints a 4″ x 6″ high-quality photo in approximately 47 seconds that is capable of lasting up to 100 years. Users can also print photos without connecting to a computer by printing directly from compatible memory cards or using the PictBridge connection. Microvision’s Pocket-sized SHOWWX Laser Pico Projector

Pocket-sized pico projectors can connect to – and pull images and video from – cell phones, laptops, digital cameras and other mobile devices so users can more easily share media with one another. Pico projectors usually consist of a miniature projection “engine” that includes a light source, optics and electronics. Only the size of a deck of cards, the SHOWWX (pronounced “SHOW,” “W,” “X”) easily plugs into any device with video out such as an iPod, iPhone, iPad or notebook computer.
