World’s Fastest Train Runs in China

Connecting Wuhan and Guangzhou, the world’s fastest train has been operating since Saturday. With maximum speed of 394.2 km per hour, the train can bring passangers from one end to another (about 1,068 km) in just 2 hours 45 minutes. Using technology developed in co-operation with foreign firms such as Siemens, Bombardier and Alstom, China will build 42 train system like this until 2012.
