This is the device you’re looking for to transfer vinyl records to digital media files, the AT-LP60-USB LP-to-Digital Turntable System from Audio-Technica. Yes I know that’s a weird name, but the device is simple and I think you will love it if you have a huge collection of vinyl records and need to be converted to digital audio files, which can then be played back on modern portable audio players, computers, home media centers and car audio systems.
Expected to be available in January 2010 for $229, the AT-LP60-USB includes a turntable and phono cartridge, PC- and Mac-compatible software, a USB cable that connects the turntable directly to a computer, and a built-in phono preamp. Sure, it also comes with RCA output cables and 3.5mm-to-RCA adapter cables, and a dustcover.
