The new Let’s Note Light R8 CF-R8WWLAJP notebook has been unveiled by Panasonic in Japan. The 10.4-inch notebook may be as small as netbook, but it’s not. Powered by 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo SU3500 CPU, the R8’s screen supports 1024 x 768 resolution. Other features: 2GB of RAM, a 64GB SSD, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, and a battery lasting up to 9 hours per charge. Expected to be released late this month, this laptop has an estimated retail price of $1,750.
