The new Olympus µ TOUGH-8000 camera will be available this month. This 12 Megapixels camera is waterproof to 10m, shockproof to falls up to 2m, freezeproof down to temperatures as low as -10°C and crushproof to withstand weights of up to 100kg. That’s a really strong camera, I want to bring it for the next ‘Water Boom’ trip. Coming with 3.6x wide optical zoom, 2.7” HyperCrystal III LCD, the TOUGH-8000 features Dual Image Stabilisation, and Face Detection Technology.
