As reported by whathifi.com, HS Kim, Samsung’ Vice president in charge of Flat Panel Development confirmed that the company can show off a larger OLED TV at CES 2009 but it’s still not ready for end-consumers soon because of the price at 10 times the price of current LCD TVs.
His sum-up? “OLED has a long way to go, technology-wise and cost-wise. It’s coming, but we just don’t know when it will be a viable consumer product.”
