New Microsoft LifeCam Show and LifeCam VX5500 Webcams 1,183 views
Two new LifeCam has been introduced by Microsoft recently: the LifeCam Show and LifeCam VX5500 Webcams. Currently I’m using Vaio Z12, a high-end laptop from Sony with built-in VGA webcam. If I want to add accessories, then the LifeCam Show is my choice as it offers 2MP sensor for video and 8MP for still images. The Show also comes with high-end audio technology known as VolPtastic that offers noise-cancelling microphone and echo-cancellation. And it’s priced at £79.95.
The LifeCam VX-5500 also features noise-cancelling microphone, but unlike the Show it’s only support VGA sensor and 1.3MP still images. And it’s £30 cheaper compare to the Show.
