Microsoft response the Sony’s move by cutting its XBox price too. Now The Arcade edition costs only £159, the price of 20GB model set at £200, and the Elite version costs £259.

With over a thousand titles expected on the Xbox by the rear end of the year, including newbies Gears of War 2 and GTA IV, the 360 is clearly still a console that matters.
