A brand new traffic service as an innovative product from TomTom and Vodafone has been announced recently. The service named TomTom High Definition Traffic that collecting traffic data by merging GSM signal with existing traffic sources. The service will be available in Netherland this month with subscription fee set at 400 Euros. Subscriber will get TomTom ONE XL HD device that features GPS receiver, 4.3-inch touchscreen, GPRS modem, and SD card slot for expansion.
