Expected to be available this month (mid September) in Japan, the Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD1000 allows you to record full 1080p at 1920×1080 pixel resolution easily and with the comfort of your hand. This camcorder adopting HD/MPEG-4 AVC codec, 10x optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD display, and 8GB SDHC card. In addition, the new DMX-HD1000 can be used to take a picture up to 8MP resolution. Other features include HDMI out and battery that can last for 2 hours. The pricing set around $1,008 but no words yet about the availability in the US.
