Following Sony that cut the price of its PS3 by $100 last month, Microsoft also doing the similar move by cutting the price of its Xbox 360 Console by $50 (max) since 8 August.
“As we look to the holidays we want to bring in more gamers and lower the price for those customers,” the Xbox 360’s group product manager, Aaron Greenberg, said in an interview, as reported by Reuters.
After the price cut, now Xbox 360 Core costs $280, Xbox 360 Premium costs $350, and Xbox 360 Elite costs $450. All items available at Amazon.com
