Dell and lenovo are the first manufacturers that adopts Wireless USB chip to their laptop. Utilizing this technology allow users to connect the laptop to any Wireless USB peripheral without the need of cable. As many USB peripheral does not support wireless USB yet, you can plug your USB to wireless USB hub such D-Link and IOGear has.
The new Wireless USB technology has more advantages compare to Bluetooth and WiFi. The technology support faster speed up to 480 Mbps at 10 feet and 100Mbps at 30 feet, it also less power consumption than WiFi.
