Sharp, a major Japanese electronic manufacturer, planned to launch 16 new AQUOS LCD TVs from its G-Series line next moth (21st August 2007). The 16 models range from 26 and 52-inch screen size at 1,920×1,080 or 1,366×768 resolution with 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The LCD TVs boast super thin panel at 81mm thick. The main features include HDMI ports, DVI, FireWire, S/PDIF digital audio, flash card slots, Ethernet and RS-232C.
