Samsung Electronics confirmed about the 1.8-inch 64GB SSD mass production. As SandDisk will mass produce its 64GB SSD late this year, Samsung could be the first manufacturer to mass produce the highest density SSD available today. The mass production believed to give positive impacts for mobile device like laptops, UMPC, and more. Table below shows off the comparison between SSD and HDD:
