The previous world slimmest cellphone is Samsung U600 which is only 10.9mm, and now the record is broke by Pantech with the release of 9.9mm cellphone IM-S230. It is mean that the new IM-S230 outrank the U600 by 1mm thinner. Samsung U600 was released on 12 february 2007, it means that they holding the crown of world’s slimmest phone only for 4 months.
