How much does the upcoming Garmin nuvi 200W cost? it cost $535 Sir, then do you consider it is a budget GPS system? oh never minds but the company claims that this entry level GPS navigation system is affordable as well as for budget lovers. Coming with 4.3-inch touch-screen plus backlight, the 200W features City Navigator NT street maps, POI (point of interest), and multimedia software applications such as image viewer. Other useful features include clock with time zone, curency/measurement converter, and calculator. The battery life could last 5 hours, oh is there something out there that can last forever? The unit has dropped in price by over 50% in the last 8 months. I would now say that it is truly entry level.
This unit is a great buy, for the price, you can’t do much better. Anyone looking for entry level and accuracy, this is a good place to start looking.
I picked up some european maps on SD and they worked great for a trip I took. The unit is great for on-foot travel and the screen is very bright and easy to read in sunlight.
I’ve got a UI video here and a few more pics for anyone interested:
