Samsung also apply its own local dimming technology that allow the LED backlight to be switch off automagically in dark spot area. The new technology providing dynamic contrast ratio of 500,000:1 as well as low power consumption. Samsung will ship the laptop for international users soon, you don’t need to wait until next year.
