New convertible type UMPC has been introduced by Fujitsu after long development. The new Lifebook U8240 is the newest Tablet Convertible UMPC in the Fujitsu U products line. The UMPC comes with Intel A110 (800MHz) processor, 1GB (max) memory, 20GB hard drive, Wi-Fi a/b/g, and fingerprint reader to enhance the security. The new U8240 will be available next month and costs $1361, but if downgrade the memory to 512MB the price will set at $1195. Regarding operating system, the umpc support both Windows XP Professional and Visa Business. [via pcjoint]
