Planet presented a dual mode VIP-195 GSM/WiFi Phone during last CeBIT exhibition last March. The phone does comply with IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11g to provide phone capability via WiFi. As GSM phone the VIP-195 support 900/1800/1900 band and GPRS too. It comes with simple button to switch between WiFi or GSM mode and both support call hold, transfer, forward and waiting. The phone also has multi features include mobile internet access, email, windows messenger, media player, and built-in 2 MP camera. The battery last 200 hours in standby session and up to 4 hours in talking session. The company hasn’t been mentioned about the pricing and the availability yet. [via avingnews]
